On Saturday I slept in pretty late since I was exhausted from spending 9 hours in the car the previous day. I didn't get out of bed until 9:30 and then spent the rest of my day responding to emails, editing photos from my travels, and working on this past weeks blog posts.

Sunday was Father's Day so my dad got up early and went golfing and I slept in for a little bit. After I woke up I had a pretty lazy morning where I just browsed Pinterest and caught up on my Bloglovin' feed.
Later in the afternoon I went up to the golf course with Ryan to watch him hit on the range since there were a few things off with his swing. I just sat behind him and made a few tweaks and had him do a few drills that I used to do.
After we got home from the golf course I spent the rest of the day blogging and watching the final round of the US Open with my dad. My dad and I were at the final round of the 2016 US Open last Father's Day in Oakmont, Pennsylvania so it really made us wish we were at Erin Hills watching the final round this year, too!

On Monday I was up at my usual 7:15am because I nannied from 9am-4pm. The weather was super nice during the day on Monday and since the family I nanny for had workers coming over to their house, I took the little boy I nanny to the park over by my house where we played on the playground and explored the "swamp" (small pond) that's located back in the wooded part of the park. After he finished looking for frogs in the swamp, we stopped by Chipotle to pick up lunch and then we took that to another park where we sat at a picnic table and ate our lunch. After lunch we walked across the street to The Goodie Shop where I let him pick out an icing cookie to eat in the car on the way home.
I got home from nannying around 4:15pm but had to stop by my favorite smoothie place to pick myself up a much needed strawberry banana smoothie. Right as I pulled into the smoothie place's parking lot it started POURING down rain! I should have known better since the sky was pitch black but I decided to take the L on that and ran in and out of the smoothie place in the downpour. The rest of the day it was either dark skies and thunder storms or sunny and blue skies, there was no in between.
Once I was home and had taken some time to catch up on my social media and drink my smoothie I took a shower and dried my hair since I was going out with a couple of my good friends that night. I went bowling across town with Ryan and three of our neighbors and it was so much fun. Even though I was the only girl in our group it was so fun to hang out together and since only two of us were seniors who are heading off to college it was nice to be back to together and it was just like when we would hang out when we were kids.
We got home from bowling around 10:30pm and I headed straight up to my room to put my pajamas on and go to bed.

Tuesday morning I was up again at 7:15am because I had quite a few errands to run that day. I had to stop by a few family friend's houses to drop off my sorority recommendation letter packets, had to take Ryan to the golf course and a couple other odds and ends. After I dropped off all my packets I went through the Starbucks drive-thru and ordered myself my go-to iced coffee and I also ordered a tall ombre pink drink because 1) I was curious and wanted to try it & 2) it looked pretty.
The ombre pink drink was definitely not for me, I'm not sure if it was the coconut milk of the combination of the passion tea, lime refresher and the coconut milk but this ended up being a strikeout but at least it made for a good picture, right?
At 1:30pm I headed over to nanny and was there until 4:30pm. I got home around 4:45pm and almost immediately got back in my car to drop off a few more sorority recruitment letter packets and then after dinner I took Ryan over to one of my best friend's, houses because she was so sweet and bought a car wash ticket from Ryan since the golf teams annual car wash is this upcoming Saturday.
After we got home from selling Ryan's car wash tickets I spent the rest of the night blogging and watch Friday Night Lights on Netflix.

Wednesday morning I was up at 7:15am like usual but I didn't actually get out of bed until 8am. Wednesday was also National Wear your Lilly Day and the first day of summer so I sported my pair of Lilly Pulitzer running shorts but sadly didn't take a picture of my outfit.
After I managed to get myself out of bed and to start being productive, I headed down to the kitchen (aka my office) because I always work from the kitchen counter. I don't know why but I'm always more productive when I'm in the kitchen and around everything that's going on in the house. I know, it doesn't make sense to me either.
I set up and posted a Reader Survey (click HERE to give me some feedback!) so that I can get some input for you all about what you like, dislike and what you'd like to see more or less of here on Northern Prepster. I also asked about your thoughts on NP's current design because I'm thinking of doing a blog re-design here in the near future!
At 1:30pm I headed off to nanny, and like usual, got home around 4:45pm. I then quickly changed into some nicer clothes and went out to dinner with Mama Prepster at one of our favorite restaurants. My dad and Ryan were golfing so it was just me and my mom and after dinner we shot the pictures for Thursday's outfit post (which you can read HERE).
After we got home from dinner I changed back into some comfier clothes and my mom and I headed out again to go watch some of my little cousin Hunter's baseball game. We got home from the baseball game around 9pm and then one of my friend's that I had gone bowling with stopped by to drop off some money that he had borrowed from me a while back.
After all that, I headed up to my room and worked on some things for the blog from bed while watching a few episodes of Friday Night Lights.

Thursday morning I was, yep, you guessed it, up at 7:15am and unlike Wednesday I actually got out of bed before 8am. I had quite a few things on my to-do list on Thursday, most of them able to be completed from home since they were all blogging to-do's so I pretty much got right to work after I threw on some comfy clothes and headed downstairs to set up shop at the kitchen counter again.
I worked for about an hour before taking a quick break to make a quick coffee shop run with my mom to pick up some iced coffees and iced mochas. I had never been to this coffee shop before but I'm already a fan and since it's only a three minute drive from my house I will definitely be visiting more often!
I spent the rest of the morning checking things off my to-do list and then headed off to nanny at 1:30pm and as always, got home around 4:45pm.
After I got home from nannying I spent the rest of my night working on blog posts and editing pictures for some of next weeks posts. I did take a quick break to run around and snap a picture of the sunset which was so pretty!

On Friday my alarm went off at 7am but I didn't make it out of bed until 8:15ish and then had to rush to quickly get ready and head out the door to nanny. I nannied from 9am-4pm and ended up getting home around 4:15.
Once I got home from nannying I immediately changed into a pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt because it was SO rainy and chilly that day. I then ate a sandwich that my mom had picked me up while she was running errands earlier in the day while I worked on editing this post and responding to a couple of emails.
Later that night I babysat for my former kindergarten teacher. Her daughter Charlotte is the absolute sweetest and bonus being that she's a super easy kid to babysit! After Charlotte went to bed I worked on next weeks blog posts and keep checking my email since USC was supposed to be releasing out housing assignments by the end of the day on Friday. After checking my email countless times, I did get my housing assignment and I'm super happy with the residence hall that my roommate and I got assigned to!
