Holiday Recap {Photos + More}

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & holiday season. Seems like Christmas came and went too quickly this year. I spent my Christmas relaxing at home with my family it was wonderful. I received some amazing gifts and was able to take lots of photos throughout the week. Enjoy these photos!

On Christmas Eve Eve I had my family Christmas party where we all did a white elephant gift exchange. I wore a basic red crew neck tee with my herringbone vest, basic black jeans and some black riding boots. And for those who are wondering, yes I did cut my hair. It's about 5 inches shorter then before!

I was kind of obsessed with how I decided to package my white elephant gift so obviously I decided to take a quick picture :)

Annual Christmas Eve photo with my younger brother, Ryan and Callie Jo. Callie doesn't like to take photos so most of them turned out like this but I thought this was too funny not to share.

My younger cousin Shelby & I. I love all the pictures of the two of us because she wore green and I wore a red fair isle sweater from H&M and the two colors compliment each other so well.

We couldn't resist. Maybe a Christmas Eve Selfie will be our little tradition now?

Callie Jo loved her early Christmas present from Grandma & Grandpa.

Thank you to Rachel for this gigantic & delicious box of cookies!

Before the chaos of Christmas present opening happened I had to snap a picture because Santa arranged the presents so nicely!

Loved the packaging my mom used to wrap my new University of Kentucky tee! Go Big Blue :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this vineyard vines wrapping paper that a brand new Shep Shirt came in :)
Not even going to lie, I totally saved this wrapping paper.

And a quick little photo of my monogrammed fleece from Lands End.

Thanks for reading & I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Rainy Days

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm wearing my new Ralph Lauren rain boots and I am in LOVE with them. I purchased them from Macy's this past Saturday and I got them for such a good price that I couldn't resist wearing them today. I styled them with a pair of jeans, and cable knit sweater and my gray pea coat.

Enjoy!

Snowball Cookies

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm going to be sharing a recipe that my mom likes to call "Snowball Cookies" They're so yummy and pretty simple to make.

 You will need:
||3 egg whites||
||1/4 tsp. salt||
||1 cup white sugar||
||1/8 tsp. cream of tartar||
||1 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips||
1. Preheat your oven to 350* and prepare your cookie sheet. Then separate the eggs so you only have the egg whites in a mixing bowl

 2. Add the 1/4 tsp. salt

 3. Mix the egg whites & salt until peaks begin to form
 These are peaks
 4. While the mixer continues to run gradually add the sugar, 1 tbsp. at a time
 5. After all the sugar has been added add in the 1/8 tsp. of cream of tartar
 6. Next add in the chocolate chips. I would suggest turning the mixer off for this step

 7. Carefully spoon out the batter and place onto your cookie sheet

 8. Place the tray in the oven and immediately turn off your oven. Allow the cookies to remain in the oven for at least 4 hours or for even better results, leave them in over night.
 I hope y'all enjoyed the recipe and if you have any recipes that you'd like to share let me know!
Thanks for reading!
