I have it narrowed down to three schools, Clemson being one of them, but I'm still waiting to hear back from one of them. Once I hear back from all my schools and make my decision I'm definitely going to share a post about my whole college application process!
Throughout our trip down to Clemson I posted a lot of my Snapchat! (@northprepster) but in case you aren't following me on Snapchat I'll include all the snaps that were on my story below.

My dad and I left at 7am Sunday morning seeing as the drive from Columbus to Clemson is about 8 and half hours. I know that sounds like a long time (which it is) but it definitely could be worse. It's nice that we're able to leave in the mornings and still make it to Clemson by afternoon and have time to actually do things that day.
We stopped for some much needed breakfast & iced coffee at Starbucks shortly after we made it to Kentucky. It was snowing pretty hard when we stopped and while it's pretty to look at, it's not super fun to drive in.
We arrived in Clemson around 3:30ish and since our meetings with Clemson administrators and faculty wasn't scheduled until Monday we headed to the hotel where I worked on some stuff for the blog and also worked on a paper that was due for my Psychology class the next day.
After I finished up my paper we decided to go drive around campus. Since the sun was beginning to set I wanted to drive down to Lake Hartwell to watch the sunset over the lake. The photo below was taken from The Walker Course at Clemson University which is Clemson's golf course. My dad and I played this course when we were down in July and we remembered that you could see the lake from the 18th hole so that's where this photo was taken.
Monday morning was another early morning as our first meeting was at 9am. When we were down in July my dad and I found this really cute coffee shop in Downtown Clemson and I really wanted to go back (the cinnamon rolls are SO good!) The weather in Clemson was chilly, at least it was chilly to me being from Ohio, but the locals and all the students considered it freezing, haha. I wore a similar outfit that the one that I shared in this blog post a few weeks ago!
Of course I had to get a cinnamon roll, they're to die for, and a vanilla latte. Y'all this vanilla latte was SO good, too. I, of course, had to take photos of my latte because it was too pretty not to share!
The photo below is Tillman Hall which is where the College of Education administration is located. For those who don't know, I'll be majoring in Elementary Education in college as I have wanted to become a teacher ever since the third grade!
After a jam packed day filled with meetings and running all over campus, it was time to hit the road and start venturing back up north. Of course we had to stop by Starbucks before leaving Clemson where I got a peach green tea lemonade, seriously one of my favorite drinks! I know I said that I was going to be vlogging my trip to Clemson which I had all intentions of doing but we had so much scheduled in a time period of less than 24 hours that I honestly didn't have any time to pull out my camera and vlog.
xoxo,
