My Favorite Casual Dress

Recently whenever I'm running late and don't have time to put together an entire outfit I'll just throw on a simple, casual dress. Yesterday morning two of my friends & I had planned to go out for brunch at 9am. Of course I slept in until around 8:30 and only had a few minutes to get ready before I was being picked up. This blue dress is SO comfortable! It's made from spandx material so it's super soft and stretchy. I've found myself throwing this dress on whether I'm running into work for an hour or so or even heading out to brunch with my friends.

Pastel Pink

One trend that I don't where very often but wish I did is white pants. I paired this gorgeous silk, pastel pink top with some white pants & my favorite wedges and my go-to gold jewelry and absolutely love the overall look! I know that I'll definitely be wearing this outfit again but in case I don't want to wear wedges with the look, I also styled it with my pink & white Palm Beach Sandals.

I love the combination of the white and the light pink, I think it's perfect for summer! I know I will be wearing white pants a lot more often as well as this pink top!

Navy Shorts & Floral Headbands

On days when I'm wanting something casual and comfy but a little bit nicer than athletic shorts & a t-shirt I love to throw on a pair of solid colored shorts and a white t-shirt. I've had these navy shorts in my closet for a few years now and love them! They're so soft and comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I threw on this simple white t-shirt from Loft and added a touch of pattern to this outfit by putting on a floral headband that I've had in my room for years and never had a change to wear.

This outfit is perfect for running errands or going out to grab lunch with friends. The solid colored shorts and the white t-shirt allow for you to wear statement accessories such as some fun earrings or colorful bracelets.

Yellow Eyelet Dress

One color that I don't own a lot of is yellow. I always have such a hard time finding yellow pieces that I actually like. When I saw this Donna Morgan yellow eyelet dress I knew I had to have it! The color of the dress is gorgeous and perfect for spring and summer. I paired the dress with my favorite brown wedges & these super fun tassel bracelets from Lilly Pulitzer. I love the combination of the colored tassel bracelets and the yellow dress. This dress is so comfortable and is perfect for Sunday brunch with friends, I know I'll be wearing it again this summer!

A Phone Case for Gals & Guys on the Go

Disclosure: The following post is a review of the jimmyCASE. jimmyCASE sent me a phone case in exchange for a review of their product, however, the opinions in this post are entirely my own.

The one thing I will never leave the house without is my phone. Even if I'm running across street to see my friend or going out to grab lunch with my friends, I'll grab my phone. If I'm going beyond the neighborhood I'll usually throw a $20 bill in the back of my phone in case I need it. The problem with doing this is that my phone case is bulky, doesn't lie flat and sometimes the case won't even stay on my phone.

My problem was solved when jimmyCASE sent me one of their iPhone 6s Wallet Cases With Card Holder in the color blue & gold stripe with a black bumper (my choice of color, perfect for summer, from their numerous options). jimmyCASE is handmade is Los Angeles, USA and the cases can hold 6 cards & cash.

jimmyCASE is perfect for gals & guys on the go. All you have to do is grab your phone, cards and cash and go to your next appointment, class or game. The stretchy elastic pocket will hold your personal items nice and tight and then when you need to access something, you can simply push the cards (or cash) out with your thumb at the bottom of the sleeve.

With my jimmyCASE I can easily throw my phone in my golf bag and know that when I arrive at the golf course, my range card & some cash will be right with my phone. jimmyCASE eliminates my need to bring my purse with me everywhere I go. Now when I'm just running out to grab a coffee or headed to class, all I need to do is grab my phone and go.
I wish there were more choices for young females besides the wooden casing. Some options I would like to see would be some more feminine choices that relate more closely with a high school girl; patterned elastic pockets, personalized monograms or maybe even a marble casing. I think by creating more feminine casing options & patterns, jimmyCASE would be able to reach a larger audience.

If you're on the lookout for a new phone case I might recommend you check out jimmyCASE. While it's not something I would purchase upon first glance, the durability and quality of it would make me inquire for more options. My Go-To College Touring Outfit

A few weeks ago my mom and I headed down south to tour a handful of colleges. We began in Greenville, South Carolina at Furman University. Then we walked through Clemson University, which I LOVED (I'm heading back down for an official tour in July). We drove down to University of Georgia which I quickly realized was not for me. We toured University of South Carolina which I also loved and then headed up to Raleigh, North Carolina to tour NC State University, which like UGA, I quickly realized was not the best fit for me. After touring NC State we drove through Elon University which is absolutely gorgeous! I loved the small town & southern charm of Elon but I knew I wouldn't be truly happy at such a small school.

By the end of our college tours I realized that each day I was opting to wear sundresses and sandals. Especially touring in the southern heat, a simple dress is perfect for walking around campus. I wore this striped dress on the day that we toured NC State and walked through Elon and was so comfortable the entire day. I already know that when I head back down to tour Clemson in a few weeks that I'll be wearing a simple sundress and a comfy pair of sandals.

Bow Back Dress

I wore this darling navy bow-back dress for dinner at my friend's country club on the last day of school a few weeks ago. My friends & I always hang out on the last day of school and being that we are all now officially seniors (!!!) we decided to all dress up and go out to nice dinner to celebrate! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and we were able to eat out on the patio.

I've had this dress in my closet and was so happy to finally be able to wear it! I love it so much that I may even be wearing it as one of my outfits for my senior pictures that are coming up in a few weeks! I styled the dress with the most comfortable wedges ever & my favorite Kate Spade bow bangle.
