A Sweet Seventeenth

Last Wednesday I celebrated my 17th birthday however my birthday party with friends wasn't until this past Sunday. I hosted a brunch that consisted of donuts & donut holes, lots of fresh fruit, hash browns, bacon & sausage and crockpot cinnamon rolls. My original plan was to host a waffle bar but my mom and I could not get a waffle maker to make edible waffles. Every waffle maker we tried always left the middle raw, yikes.

I invited 11 of my friends over to celebrate with me and it was so much fun! I haven't hosted a birthday party in a long time so it was nice to finally do something to celebrate. My mom and I spent all day Saturday running from store to store buying fruit and juices and lots of fresh flowers to use as centerpieces on the tables.

Today I'm going to be sharing a bunch of photos of my party set-up and a few pictures that we took during the party. And to all my friends, you're finally on the blog, congrats ;)

This was my take on a juice stand. Not too fancy, just orange juice, apple juice & a big pitcher of water.

All of my friends were oh so kind and brought me the sweetest gifts ever! They know me so well & I absolutely love how each girl wrapped their gifts! So much pink & green!

As for my outfit I wore a chambray shirt from Old Navy, a salmon colored corduroy skirt from vineyard vines and a bow belt from Target. My color theme for the party was pink & blue and without even planning, my outfit matched it too!

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes & to all my friends and family for all the sweet gifts they gave!

xoxo,
